McDonald’s Nederland selects TaskXS

We are proud to announce that the Development department of McDonald’s Nederland BV, has selected TaskXS as the supplier of its new project management tool. A customized version of our XS Project application will be used by the name of McDProject. The Development Team of McDonald’s Nederland executes about 40 construction projects yearly.

Manager Construction, Barbara van der Kolk and Technical Manager Nico Smedes selected TaskXS Solutions to built a replacement for their current Sharepoint environment.

‘The simple layout with core functions such as a project dashboard, document management, version control and the availability of a mobile app are important features for us.
Furthermore, the possibilities for document reviews and approval by advisors, document requirement templates and chat boxes to limit e-mail traffic are a major contribution to the efficiency of the information flows.

In collaboration with project managers Stefan van der Voort and Robin Stuiver, a pilot project was completed and evaluated for the new restaurant in Zaandam Centrum. Recommendations from the users have been processed by our developers and the application is being expanded with our newly developed Minutes function.

With the interactive minutes of TaskXS, action points in Construction Minutes are automatically reported to the parties involved who will receive timely reminders when an action is not signed off by the construction manager.
